Awake and Pure
The spiritual balance between good and evil, God and the Devil, has to exist for the sake of our moral livelihood. You can either be humble and caring to join the family of God or be greedy and distasteful and join Satan’s army. Its all an emotional war going on in everyones mind based on the harsh hands dealt by birth and survival, making you anxious to choose or examine which side your decisions have led you into joining. Have you been a dark sinner all your life and know that the Devil lives in your soul using you as his puppet? Or have you been an angelic spokesperson for love and the goodness of God that embraces your being?
Being as reflective and analytical as I possibly can in this life I live, I feel that I have a more constructive and cohesive outlook on what this constant battle of morale. This personification of positivity and negativity through God and the Devil is merely just a way to measure your acceptance in a certain society or subculture. Lately, it has been making its way into the media, presented almost as propaganda. Could this mean that the more subliminal occult messages that have been showing up in the music we listen to (the Satanic following/sold souls in the music industry) or the clothes we wear (religious symbols on silk screen t-shirts and sweaters; skulls, pyramids, crosses, etc.) is all leading up to the climatic all out apocalypse (Oh no, 2012…)? No. I zoomed out of this panoramic concept to see where I stand on this constant symbolism and talked with numerous friends of mine about what we think is going to happen.
“We’re going to die.”…”We’re going to have a World War 3.”…”THE WORLD IS ENDING!”…
Thats exactly what all this subliminal shit is about; fear. They want you to fear something in the near future and believe that something will happen. 2012 is the biggest marketing scheme since Y2k if you ask me. I’m not an angel or demon, I’m a human being that believes in both sides of these good and evil trenches. We need good and evil, we need comfort and fear, we need a moral compass, we need to know right from wrong, we need something to believe in…I’m proud to say that I am a child of this Earth. I understand that all of these solid colors have shades. I believe in using everything this universe has to offer my soul for the sake of growth and wisdom. Teaching may be an act of God but I do seek to learn from the evils that lurk in my dimension. I will continue to teach and learn with positivity and negativity as guidelines, but never will I dedicate myself to one side. My soul is a filter so put God and the Devil in me and call me what you want…because I’m spreading both sides of every story. I’ve awakened from the dreams and nightmares and exist with a purified aura.
Peace be to the most High. I know the creator, so I know he put these things on this earth for us to use.

Payday was on Friday, so you know I’m in the mood to go out and do something. First things first, I needa get back in that gym! Haven’t lifted in HELLA long so I gotta break back into the daily ritual. Then, I gotta call up the homies, roll some kill, and see where the day takes us. I’m trying to get some 00g tapers tomorrow and some decent 0g plugs man, because the plugs I got right now hella look like green M&M’s in my ears. haha So I’m mosdef gonna see whats good in the Haight. After that, I gotta see my nigga Alfredo to celebrate his bday with the rest of us! Working full time makes you appreciate your free time so fucking much, I swear…so I’ma dip out and seize the day…
